Smaller box, bigger service.

As a small business, we have relied on our customer service and personal touch to meet our customers needs. As a hearth retailer, we don't just sell stoves and chimney pipe. We sell the knowledge and skills of two of the industries top certified technicians to install, service, and repair your hearth systems.

We sell quality products that we believe in and strive to provide exceptional customer experiences that the big box stores simply can't match. Hearth systems have become a major part of our business so we have invested considerable time and money into properly training and equipping our hearth technicians.

Many stores sell stoves, but none of them have our people.

Photo Showcase

One of the primary purposes of this blog is to showcase our work.  Here are some photographs of jobs we have done before this blog was started.  While we wont post every one of the hundreds of stoves we have sold, here are a few.

One of the many services we can provide is to breathe a little new life into an old unit.  This Lopi Endeavor wood stove got an overhaul at our shop, we think the results speak for themselves.

This unit received new firebrick, a full cleaning and new gaskets, a fresh coat of paint, and some polishing on the gold trim.

This Lopi Endeavor replaced an older unit and was vented into an existing chimney.

This was a brand new installation, we installed a Lopi Endeavor on a commercial hearth pad and installed a new class A chimney.

Here is a photo during a large job where Jim and Bryan relined two flues and installed two Lopi wood inserts.
A Lopi Greenfield gas unit installed through the wall as part of a remodeling project.  It is the largest of the Lopi freestanding gas units and has glass on both sides as well as the front.

This Lopi Northfield gas unit is installed on a commercial hearth pad set into a riser we custom built for the customer.  After the photo we painted the vent pipe to match the stove.

As part of a family room remodeling project we were hired to install this Lopi 616 gas insert into an existing masonry fireplace.  This included a chimney relining and a new hearth extension was added to cover the old brick (this is why there is space under the insert, so it would be level with the new hearth).

This Harman P68 pellet stove was installed on a hearth built by the customer.  This is the largest freestanding pellet unit in Harmans lineup and will likely heat most of this customers house by itself.

Harmans XXV pellet unit is made of cast iron and is installed here on a commercial hearth pad and vented through the wall.  Notice the close clearance to combustibles making some pellet units a good choice for tighter spaces.

This pellet insert is Harmans new Accentra 52i.  Installed here in an existing fireplace with a relined flue, it can also be installed in a zero-clearance box mounted in a cabinet or chase to get that fireplace feel without the need of an existing fireplace.

These two photos are from a large job that took several days.  First we had to demolish existing walls and the hearth and then frame in and install this double sided see-thru gas fireplace.  This also included a reline of the chimney.

Use the electrical outlet on the wall as a reference when looking at these two photos. The 2 sides of this fireplace allow 2 rooms to enjoy a fireplace with different decor using only one unit.

This garage has been turned into a bar/hangout by the homeowner and a nice fireplace was just the thing to add some ambiance as well as heat in the winter.  We installed a new vertical gas venting system and framed in a new cabinet to house the unit.  Below you can see the finished result.

A cultured stone veneer and hearth as well as a custom mantel finished this installation beautifully.
